The Reality of Hell
Is Hell an eternal place?
Who's Right?
Could it truly be an endless party?
Many believe Hell will be a celebration with all their friends.
Songs describe it as a place of revelry and pleasure.
Bon Scott of AC/DC sang:
...Ain't nothin' that I'd rather do
Goin' down, Party time
My friends are gonna be there too
I'm on the highway to hell
Others say Hell is here on earth.
Some believe Hell is temporary and that one may leave it at some point.
Many don't believe or want to believe in a literal place called Hell.
But if I don't believe in something, or if I don't like the idea of something,
then does it cease to exist?
Please compare some worldly views to the scriptural view
on this very difficult subject.

What do the Bible and Jesus Christ say about Hell?
"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8
"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Matthew 10:28
Jesus speaking to His Disciples
"And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” Matthew 25:46 Jesus speaking on the final Judgement
This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13: 49-50 Jesus speaking to His Disciples
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. Jude 1:7

That's a portion of what the Bible says about Hell. Will you believe a celebrity, an atheist, a philosopher, or will you believe the scriptures and the words of God incarnate - Jesus Christ?
I choose to believe Jesus Christ, as horrifying as the doctrine of Hell is.
Jesus described Hell as the place of eternal fire and eternal suffering, a place that no one can ever leave.
Dear neighbor, please consider these things deeply.
God saves us from wrath, His wrath. He created Hell for Satan and his fallen angels. Hell was also created for the unbelieving, those who reject the gift of grace, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God will save you from Hell if you repent and place your trust in Jesus, the One who gave His very life for you. Please don't miss it. God Loves You!
2 Peter 3:9 says this:
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Seek the LORD while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near;
let the wicked forsake his way,
and the unrighteous man his thoughts;
let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him,
and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7
"That If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. " Romans 10:9
Assurance for the believer is this:
For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him.
1 Thessalonians 5: 9-10
